"We live by faith, not by sight." (II Corinthians 5:7 NIV)
It is God’s will for His children to live by faith. "Now faith is the assurance [the confirmation, the title deed] of the things hoped for, being the proof of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. (Heb.11:1 AMP) The Amplified Bible also describes faith as, the leaning of our entire human personality on Him in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom and goodness! The only way that we can live our lives pleasing to God is to live by faith.
Spending time with God in His Word is essential to living by faith because faith comes by hearing the Word. Our faith will grow according to the amount of time we are willing to spend in His Word. It isn’t easy and it won’t happen overnight. Spend time in the Word daily and your faith will continually grow.
Our faith will be tested, but James says for us to count it all joy because the testing of our faith produces and develops patience. When we allow patience to do a thorough work in us, we will be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Peter tells us to rejoice when we encounter all kinds of trials and temptations. They come, so that our faith may be proved genuine. As we exercise our faith during trials and temptations, our faith will become stronger and stronger.
Jesus is the Leader and the Source of our faith. Living by faith is keeping our focus on Him, on His Word, on His promises instead of our circumstances and problems. The answer to everything we could ever face is in God’s Word. Find the answer to your problem. Claim it for yourself. Meditate on it. Put it in your heart and in your mouth. Keep on believing and keep on speaking the promises of God, no matter what you see or how you feel. Don’t give up. It is through faith and patience that we obtain the promises of God.
God watches over His Word to perform it and He will bring it to pass because of your faith. Fight the good fight of faith and you will see the will of God manifest in your life.

"Heavenly Father, I want to live by faith. Thank You for giving me the power to live my life pleasing to You."
"In Jesus’ Name, Amen."
